Ralph's note:
this is perhaps the best definition of what prayer should be
that I have ever heard. It is nearly identical to Alistaire
Petrie's
definition of, and motivation for prayer.
Quote:
Prayer is a relationship. It is a relationship of a Father and His children;
of two friends; of a King and His servants; of a Teacher and His students,
and of a Bride Groom and His bride. Prayer was never intended to
become something we only do when we are in need or if we desire
something. It is a continual, on going conversation between
God, the creator of all that is, and His creation.
